About Alsama Project Inc
In Lebanon, Alsama is working with teenagers who arrived without the chance to sit in a classroom, and helping them build from there. Its accelerated education centres compress 12 years of schooling into six, while cricket hubs, social enterprises, and the G12++ certificate give students more than one path forward. It is also reaching refugee women and mothers through work, literacy, and learning that fits into community life. Accelerated education centres
Secondary education centres for refugee and displaced teenagers, with Arabic, English, Maths, IT, Science, Logical Reasoning, Professionalism, Art, Music, Yoga, Awareness, and competitive sports.
Cricket hubs
Non-contact cricket hubs for refugee and displaced youth that build leadership, teamwork, resilience, and physical wellbeing.
Alsama Studio
A women-led social enterprise in Shatila that employs mothers of students to create handmade embroidery art, fashion, homeware, and accessories.
Arabic Language School
A social enterprise offering beginner to advanced Levantine Arabic lessons in person or online, staffed by students who have reached a high level of English and Arabic.
G12++ certificate
A standardised, high school-equivalent certificate designed for displaced youth to prove academic capability for university and skilled employment.
Family literacy and awareness classes
Literacy and awareness classes for the families of students, including women in the community.

Mission
Alsama means sky in Arabic. It educates refugee teenagers in the Middle East and empowers refugee women through education, cricket, social enterprise, and the G12++ certificate.
