About Assistance League Of San Antonio
Assistance League of San Antonio is built around a simple, local idea, meet real needs in ways families can actually use. Through programs like Operation School Bell, Togs for Tots, scholarships, educational enrichment, and safety education, it serves children, students, and families across San Antonio and Bexar County. In FY 2023-2024, that work reached 29.8 thousand people, powered by 69.1 thousand volunteer hours. If you want to support an organization that shows up with practical help, this is that kind of group.
What sets Assistance League of San Antonio apart is how specific its help is. The chapter uses member volunteers and a locally funded thrift shop model to support programs shaped around San Antonio and Bexar County needs, from school clothing to college scholarships. That local fit gives its work a very clear, hands-on feel.
