About Benjamin Runga Foundation Inc
In Sinoni, Arusha, Benjamin Runga Foundation gives Tanzanian youth free ICT education in the basics of computers, JavaScript coding, and graphics design. It is the kind of work that starts with access, then keeps going with community ICT labs and mentorship, so students have a place to learn and keep learning. The result is practical: more than 350 students have been empowered, and 58% of them are female.
What sets this foundation apart is how grounded it is in place and follow-through. Students do not just get classes, they also have community ICT labs, and the long-term goal is an ICT education hub in Sinoni, Arusha. That matters when you want digital learning to become part of everyday community life, not a one-time lesson.
