About Big Picture Research and Communicat Ions
Big Picture Research & Communications works on an ambitious question: how can advocacy for pro-competition and pro-environment regulations return over a trillion dollars a year to workers, consumers, and the environment? The Austin organization develops political-economy models, creates educational materials for interested laypeople, and engages philanthropists through The One Percent Shift. Donor support helps make complex policy questions easier to understand and strengthens advocacy focused on root causes.
Big Picture Research & Communications looks at political economy, globalization, and media through big-picture models designed to clarify policy choices. It also translates that work into videos, articles, and a multimedia library for laypeople, including materials that challenge the premises and conclusions of free market ideology.
