About Bozeman Insight Community
Bozeman Insight Community has been offering instruction, practice, and fellowship in Bozeman since 1996. What makes it easy to care about is the shape of the invitation: free and low-cost weekly gatherings, guided heart practices, sound meditations, book groups, and residential retreats that welcome newcomers, beginners, and curious skeptics. It is a place for people looking for wisdom, compassion, and a steady practice they can actually step into.
A lot of meditation spaces can feel like you need to already know the rules. Bozeman Insight Community makes room for people who are just starting, and it does so through free weekly sanghas, volunteer leadership, and offerings rooted in dāna. The result is a sangha that feels accessible without being casual about the practice.

In their words
We aim to be a welcoming refuge for all people to explore meditation, mindful living, and the teachings of the Buddha.
We are committed to cultivating an appreciation of diversity and to acknowledging the need to recognize and dissolve barriers that separate us from each other.
We open our doors and hearts to all social identities including, all races, genders, sexual orientations, ages, abilities, cultures, and ethnicities.
To teach is to show. You can’t teach what you don’t know. You can’t guide where you don’t go. And you can’t grow what you don’t sow.
