About Cassie Volunteer Fire Department &
When an emergency unfolds in the subdivisions around Lake Buchanan and Inks Lake, Cassie Volunteer Fire Department is there with volunteer fire response, rescue service, and first responder medical care. The department also helps neighbors prepare before something happens, from fire safety education to scheduled in-home visits with medics. Your support helps sustain this local emergency response for residents across Burnet County Emergency Services District No. 2.
Cassie VFD serves communities around two Texas lakes with rescue vehicles, a rescue boat, a UTV, and a special operations trailer. It also brings preparedness into residents’ homes, where medics review safety items and help complete medication lists and emergency access forms.

Volunteer fire response
Responds to fires and protects lives and property in subdivisions on and around Lake Buchanan and Inks Lake, Texas.
