About Chutter
When someone has experienced abuse, speaking publicly can feel out of reach. Chutter gives survivors and witnesses a free-speech platform to share what happened, warn others, and help communities protect themselves and their loved ones. Donations support anonymous disclosures, a searchable abuse directory, survivor support, and practical resources for people making difficult safety decisions.
Chutter lets people search an individual’s name before placing themselves or a loved one in a vulnerable position, while also giving survivors and witnesses ways to share accounts anonymously. The organization connects those disclosures with survivor support, story engagement, abuse-prevention resources, and public discussion of gaps in legal protections.

How someone in need can access Chutter’s services.
Individuals can contact Chutter by email or phone for help, questions, or to share their story. Users can create a free account, submit an account of abuse or witness testimony, and use anonymous posting and privacy controls. Children who do not know their birth date are directed to seek help from a trusted grown-up or contact 9-1-1 or the Childhelp National Child Abuse Hotline at 1-800-422-4453.
