About Dallas Accueil
Dallas Accueil is for the moment when Dallas is still new, the forms are unfamiliar, and even simple things can take extra effort. It welcomes French-speaking newcomers and longtime residents with practical local information, social gatherings, and French-language activities that make life in Dallas feel more navigable. For donors, the appeal is simple: it helps people settle in and stay connected, in French, through the everyday stuff that makes a city feel like home.
What sets Dallas Accueil apart is that it does both sides of the work: the useful, local guidance and the social side of feeling known. It is run entirely by volunteers, and its steady mix of meetups, activities, and a free guide gives people a way in, plus a way to keep showing up.

Mission
Dallas Accueil est une association apolitique, non confessionnelle et à but non lucratif qui accueille et aide les personnes de langue française s’installant à Dallas et ses environs à s’intégrer à la vie américaine et à les accompagner tout au long de leur séjour.

Personnes francophones ou parlant français à Dallas et dans le Metroplex, y compris les nouveaux arrivants, les familles expatriées, les francophones et les francophiles.
Our story
Founded in 1985, Dallas Accueil grew as a volunteer-run association for people of French language arriving in Dallas and its surrounding area. It is affiliated with the Fédération Internationale des Accueils Français et Francophones à l’Etranger, or FIAFE.
