Family Support Council Of Douglas
About Family Support Council Of Douglas
Since 1982, Family Support Council of Douglas has been the kind of place people in and around Douglas County can turn to when home feels uncertain. It offers confidential shelter, advocacy, therapy, supervised visitation, parenting education, and disability support, all through services that are free and designed to help families stay safer and steadier. If you want to support an organization that meets people at some of their hardest moments, this is one with a very clear local role.
What stands out here is how specific the support is. Abbey’s Crossing offers confidential shelter, Hope’s Haven gives families a safe place for supervised visitation, and Jessie’s Ranch provides person-centered support for adults with developmental disabilities. It is all under one local umbrella, and all built around privacy and practical help.
