Give Nebraska
About Give Nebraska
Give Nebraska makes it easy to give close to home. Donors can support the Nebraska nonprofits they care about through payroll deduction, donor-directed workplace campaigns, direct giving, and other options that keep the gift pointed where they want it to go. For member agencies, that means more than funding, with campaign support and back-end help that strengthens their fundraising capacity.
The key thing here is choice. Give Nebraska is a donor-directed federation, so gifts are designated to the nonprofits donors pick instead of being sorted by an internal committee. It also supports member agencies with fundraising, public relations, marketing, and networking help, which gives the giving side a little more staying power.

Our story
Give Nebraska started in 1981, when Nebraska nonprofits came together as a federation after donors asked for more choices and nonprofits wanted new sources of funding. In 2021, it changed its name from Community Services Fund of Nebraska to Give Nebraska, while keeping the same donor-directed mission.

In their words
Give Nebraska makes donating just to those organizations I love so easy I don't even have to worry about it. I never have to write a check or give my credit card information, and I can choose exactly where the money goes.
My colleagues and I appreciate the opportunity to support other causes we feel passionate about in addition to our own organization. It's actually fun to choose who you want to support and so easy with the payroll deduction.
Give Nebraska speaks to our grassroots origins, statewide focus and our belief that everyone, regardless of the size of their donation, can be a philanthropist.
