About Good News Bear Club Of Omaha Inc

North Omaha Good News Bears gives at-risk youth ages 4 to 17 a place to show up on Saturdays, get tutoring, eat nutritious meals, and spend time with adults who are paying attention. The work is built around faith, character, and values-based programming, with support for both kids and their families. If you care about the kind of space that helps young people grow into responsible, caring citizens, this is one of those organizations that keeps showing up with practical, human support.

What sets North Omaha Good News Bears apart is how many parts of a young person’s week it touches without losing its center. Saturday Club, tutoring, parent meetings, monthly field trips, summer camp, Bible study, meals, and mentoring all point in the same direction, which is helping kids and families build toward their maximum potential. There is also a clear pattern of alumni coming back as volunteers, teachers, and mentors, which says a lot about the kind of community it creates.
