Overview

About Hope Active

Since 2017, Hope Active has been the kind of local organization that fills in the gaps people actually feel, backpacks before school starts, diapers on the shelf, Christmas gifts when the season gets expensive, and mentorship for students who need steady support. It has served over 2,800 students and families, and over 2,000 local families were positively impacted in the past year. For a donor, that means giving to something rooted in everyday needs, not abstract goals.

What sets Hope Active apart is how closely its work stays tied to the lives of local students and families. Its support reaches into schools and juvenile facilities, offers memorial scholarships, and keeps practical help moving through seasonal drives and outreach. It is built around direct, local partnerships and the kind of support people can use right away.

Origin

Our story

Raymond Steward II founded Hope Active after being inspired by someone who served as a bridge for his family and offered a hand-up, not a handout.
