About Horsemanship For Heroes
Horsemanship For Heroes gives veterans, emergency responders, and their families a place to do hard, healing work with horses. Its equine-assisted psychotherapy and learning sessions happen on the ground and, when appropriate, in the saddle, with weekly healing classes at no cost to participants. For donors, the draw is simple, this is care built around people who have carried a lot and need support that feels both clinical and deeply human.
Horsemanship For Heroes offers equine-assisted psychotherapy and learning with mental health supervision inside a PATH Intl. Premier Accredited Center. That matters because the work is not just hands-on, it is clinically grounded, and it is provided at no cost to veterans, emergency responders, and their immediate family members.
Programs

Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy & Learning
Sessions are conducted on the ground and, when appropriate, in the saddle to build resilience, emotional regulation, self-confidence, communication, and trust skills.
Weekly Healing Classes
90-minute classes run over an eight-week cycle and are provided at no cost to veterans, emergency responders, and their immediate family members.
HorsePower
Equine-assisted learning through the Education program for employees and teams, designed to support stronger leadership, team dynamics, and productive work environments.
