Overview

About Houston Aortic Foundation

Houston Aortic Foundation is built around one very specific idea: if you care for people with aortic disease, you should have a place to learn from the people doing the work every day. Its annual Houston Aortic Symposium brings together health professionals for scientific and educational sessions on aortic disease and its treatment, along with abstract presentations and continuing education. It also offers a dedicated nursing symposium, which gives nurses and advanced practice providers a focused space to learn about caring for aortic and cardiovascular patients.

What sets Houston Aortic Foundation apart is how tightly focused it is. The annual symposium centers on aortic disease, with dedicated sessions on topics like structural heart, acute aortic syndromes, arch repair, TAAA, AI, and genetics, while the nursing symposium gives clinicians in those roles their own continuing education program.
