About Journey 4ward
When trauma follows a crime, a family may need more than a single appointment. Journey4ward provides free counseling and wraparound support for crime victims, at-risk youth, and families with limited access to mental health services, with care available for children, adolescents, and adults. Your support helps make room for healing while young people learn about nonviolence, grief, gun safety, and the choices that shape what comes next.
Journey4ward connects free trauma counseling with support for people navigating crime-victim compensation and the criminal justice process. Its DFW Circle of Mothers offers peer support for women who have lost a child to violence, rooted in the personal experience that led to the organization’s founding.

In their words
Families deserve more support through the process, and Journey4ward can provide that support to them.
We join others from all walks of life, assuring them they do not need to journey alone.
I wanted to start a foundation where I could be of help to others grieving the loss of their children due to violence so they would not have to shuffle through the process with no assistance like my family had to.
