Lincolnlancaster County Child
About Lincolnlancaster County Child
Some children arrive needing a forensic interview. Others need a medical evaluation, advocacy support, or a referral for trauma-informed counseling. BraveBe Child Advocacy Center in Lincoln gives children and families affected by abuse, neglect, sex trafficking, witnessed violence, and other violent crime one coordinated place to start. Donors help keep that support close, calm, and centered on the child.
BraveBe is built around a child-friendly, coordinated response, so children are not bounced from place to place while trying to tell what happened. It also keeps prevention education and community training in the same organization, with partnerships that extend beyond the walls of the center. Even the trained facility service dog, Eevee, is part of helping children feel calmer during interviews.
