Overview

About North Texas Prescribed Burn Association

Prescribed burning can protect the land as well as the people who manage it. Across 28 North Texas counties, the North Texas Prescribed Burn Association helps members and non-members build the knowledge and skills to burn safely, with training, equipment, and expertise. Its work supports wildlife habitat, watershed health, natural resource recovery, and wildfire prevention.

The association makes prescribed-burning education practical by providing access to equipment and expertise for both members and non-members. Its work connects careful fire management with habitat improvement, watershed care, and reduced wildfire risk across North Texas.
