About Nourish Texas
A hot, healthy meal can help a child get through the school day. Nourish Texas provides fresh, nutritious meals to disadvantaged Texas families and to children in schools and institutions, while teaching practical skills around cooking and healthy eating. Your support helps connect food access with education, from cooking classes to farm tours and nutrition information.
Nourish Texas treats food access as a starting point for learning, not the finish line. Its scholastic program promotes sustainable agriculture and uses compostable products, keeping more than two tons of trash out of landfills annually.
