About Reeds Refuge Center Inc

Reeds Refuge Center gives children and youth a place to build skills, try creative work, and get support that meets them where they are. Through S.T.R.E.A.M. education, performing arts, counseling, and anti-violence programming, it serves young people in Wilmington with both structure and room to express themselves. For donors, the draw is simple, this is a center where mentoring, creative training, and practical support all live under one roof.

What sets Reeds Refuge Center apart is how directly it connects arts training with youth mentoring and anti-violence work. Young people can move from virtual learning to media arts to forums about community concerns, with options that include dance, music, culinary arts, fashion design, and audio engineering. It is a broad, hands-on setup that gives youth more than one way to show up and grow.
