About Unify Waco
Unify Waco helps bring Waco residents and local public safety agencies into the same community spaces, from youth resource events to family gatherings. Its support reaches students who need school supplies, seniors who receive holiday support, and women in public safety seeking leadership development. Since 2021, thousands of backpacks filled with back-to-school essentials have gone to students in Waco and surrounding cities, giving donors a practical way to support connection, opportunity, and trust close to home.

Public Safety Events and Programs

The PD Polar Express
A holiday event for seniors in local community living centers that includes a festive bus ride, holiday meal, gifts from Santa, and fellowship.
Back to School Bash
A community event that distributes backpacks filled with school supplies to students in Waco and surrounding cities.
Trunk or Treat
A family-friendly Halloween event hosted by Waco PD and Waco ISD PD, where officers and community partners decorate car trunks and distribute candy in a safe environment.
Cornhole Tournament
A youth-focused tournament held as part of the Community Opportunity Event, with separate age divisions for participants ages 8–12 and 13–18.
