Overview

About Ywca Of Lincoln

YWCA Lincoln is the kind of local organization that shows up in the everyday places where life gets harder, and then stays there with something useful in hand. It offers youth leadership, job readiness, financial literacy, hygiene support, respite care, and juvenile-justice advocacy for women, girls, children, families, and other Lincoln residents who need it. Each year, it serves more than 1,000 people, with programs that are built around racial justice, women’s empowerment, and family well-being.

What stands out here is how specific the support is. A high school girl can find mentorship through CATCH, a parent can get help through Circle of Security Parenting, and a family can turn to Job Outfitters or the Wholesome Hygiene Program for basic, immediate needs. It’s local work with a wide reach, but it never loses sight of the person in front of it.
