For Donors

When you donate to a specific project on Love What You Fund, your donation is processed by Every.org (a registered 501(c)(3) public charity that receives the gift and grants it onward) and disbursed to the nonprofit you chose. You can track progress through real-time updates on the project page.

Donations are made to verified 501(c)(3) organizations through Every.org — the registered public charity that processes the gift — and are generally tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Every.org emails you an IRS-compliant receipt after your donation, including the information you need for tax purposes. We don't provide tax advice; consult your tax advisor about your specific situation.

Every.org processes our donations and accepts all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), bank transfers, PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Stocks, donor-advised funds, and crypto are also supported.

Every.org issues your IRS-compliant tax-deductible receipt and emails it to you immediately after your donation. You can also access all your receipts through your Every.org account.

Every.org passes along payment processing fees on credit card donations. Bank transfers (ACH) and other methods often have lower or no fees. Exact fees are displayed by Every.org before you complete your donation. During our launch period, Love What You Fund does not take a platform fee on your donation. We may introduce fees in the future, and we'll always disclose them clearly before they apply.

Yes! During the donation process, you can choose to make your donation anonymous. The nonprofit will still receive your contact information for tax receipt purposes, but your name won't appear publicly on the project page.

Unlike crowdfunding platforms, donations to projects on Love What You Fund are immediately available to nonprofits. There's no all-or-nothing funding requirement. Nonprofits can use received funds to make partial progress toward their goals and continue fundraising.

For Nonprofits

Start by creating an account and searching for your organization using your EIN. If your nonprofit is in the IRS Business Master File, your basic information will auto-populate. Then verify ownership by confirming an email address that matches your organization's domain. Donation processing is automatic — Every.org sources its directory from the IRS, so any registered 501(c)(3) is typically already linked.

There's no cost to join Love What You Fund, and during our launch period we don't take a platform fee from your donations. Every.org passes along payment processing fees (which vary by payment method) and disburses the rest to your nonprofit. We reserve the right to introduce platform fees or paid features in the future, and we'll disclose any such change clearly before it takes effect.

Donations are processed by Every.org, a registered 501(c)(3) public charity. Every.org collects donations on your behalf, issues tax receipts to donors, and disburses funds to your nonprofit on a monthly cycle (typically by check or direct deposit if you have an Every.org account set up).

You'll need your nonprofit's EIN and an email address matching your organization's domain for verification. Having your mission statement, project descriptions, and images ready will help you create compelling project pages quickly. No bank account setup required up-front — Every.org handles disbursement.

Yes! You can add team members with different permission levels: Owners have full access including payment settings, Editors can manage projects and communications, and Viewers have read-only access to reports and dashboards. The primary owner (whoever claimed the organization) cannot be removed.

From your dashboard, go to Projects and click "Create Project." You'll set a title, description, funding goal, and upload images. Our AI assistant can help you craft compelling copy. Projects can be saved as drafts before publishing to your public page.

Many states require nonprofits to register before soliciting donations from their residents. Love What You Fund helps by displaying required state disclosures automatically based on donor location. You can manage your state registration status in the Nonprofit Profile section to ensure compliance.

Every.org — the 501(c)(3) that receives and processes donations as the recipient of record — automatically issues each donor's tax receipt by email right after a donation, so you don't need to send one yourself. Receipts include the donation amount, date, and the receiving organization's details. For your books, you can record Every.org as the donor of record and credit the individual as a soft credit.

Yes! You can import donor information via CSV upload. This helps you maintain relationships with existing donors and send them communications through the platform. The import process includes field mapping to ensure data is correctly matched.

Use the Communications section to send email updates to your donors. You can send updates about specific projects, general newsletters, or thank-you messages. All emails include your nonprofit's branding and required unsubscribe links.
