Overview

About Baytown Habitat For Humanity

Baytown Habitat for Humanity builds simple, affordable homes alongside local families, volunteers, donors, and community partners. Future homeowners complete education and sweat equity, then purchase their homes through affordable mortgages that support long-term stability. Since completing its first home in 1991, the Baytown affiliate has completed 40 homes in the community.

Future homeowners are part of the building process from the start, completing financial preparation, home maintenance education, and required sweat equity before purchasing their homes through affordable mortgages. Baytown Habitat also gives local businesses, civic groups, religious organizations, and donors clear ways to take part in construction and community workdays.
