Immigration matters can shape a family’s future, yet the process is often difficult to navigate. Bridges to Empower Communities helps immigrant families and individuals with legal services, immigration assistance, community education, and compassionate support. Your donation supports work centered on equity, justice, and dignity for people facing complex immigration challenges.
Bridges to Empower Communities brings immigration legal assistance together with pro se support, notarial services, community education, and business guidance. Its work is shaped by a Chile-U.S. perspective and by the experiences of immigrant families, legal advocates, and community leaders.
Programs

Immigration Services
Support with asylum applications, family-based petitions, DACA and TPS renewals, work permits, green cards and citizenship, FOIA requests, adjustment of status, consular processing, waivers, U visas and VAWA, SIJS, motions to reopen or reconsider, removal defense, humanitarian parole, travel permits, and employment-based petitions.
Pro Se Support Services
Application review, document preparation, immigration document guides and checklists, immigration interview practice, immigration court preparation, translations, certified translations, mock hearings, and FOIA assistance.
Notarial Services
Notarization of immigration documents and certified translations with notary acknowledgments and jurats.
Business and Community Services
Business formation for LLCs, corporations, and nonprofits; 501(c)(3) creation; bylaws and operating agreements; EIN assistance; business licensing guidance; entrepreneurship workshops; and strategic business consulting.
Community Education
Education and guidance intended to help immigrant families navigate legal and community matters.
