About Brightest Stars Foundation
A student can move from mentorship to designing, testing, and launching a cube satellite into space. Brightest Stars Foundation gives girls and young women, especially those from underserved and underrepresented communities, sustained support through STEM education, scholarships, career guidance, and hands-on projects. Founded in Houston in 2007, the foundation has reached young women across more than 15 countries, with roots in the Caribbean and programs that support future scientists, engineers, and innovators.
Brightest Stars stands out for giving girls the chance to work on real space science projects, including designing and launching cube satellites, while also providing long-term mentorship and field-specific guidance. Its international work grew from Caribbean roots and focuses on expanding STEM access for girls and young women who have been underserved or underrepresented in the field.

Dr. Camille Wardrop Alleyne Scholarship Fund
Provides scholarships and field-specific mentorship to young women pursuing studies in science, engineering, mathematics, or computer science. The fund awards two $5,000 scholarships annually, renewable for one additional year.
Space and Science Academy for Girls
Develops academies that expand girls’ access to secondary STEM education, advanced learning, entrepreneurship, leadership development, and social consciousness.
STEM Science Centers and Academies Development
Develops STEM-focused science centers and academies for girls as spaces for mentorship, hands-on STEM activities, experimentation, and global collaboration.
