Canstruction Houston Inc
About Canstruction Houston Inc
Canstruction Houston turns an annual build into food on the shelves at the Houston Food Bank. Architects, engineers, construction firms, and the students they mentor create can-sculptures from canned and non-perishable food, then donate everything to help people facing food insecurity across the greater Houston area. If you want your support to land as both an event and a meal, this is a very direct place to give.
What sets Canstruction Houston apart is that the food drive is visible before it is counted. The sculptures are made for public exhibition, then the food goes to the Houston Food Bank, so the finished work carries real weight beyond the event floor.
