Overview

About Cape Henlopen Food Basket

Cape Henlopen Food Basket gives Delaware residents in need a 7 to 10 day supply of food, including canned and frozen items, meats, bread, fresh produce, and a supermarket voucher for dairy. It is fully volunteer-run, which gives the work a grounded, community feel from start to finish. If you want to help local families get through a tough stretch with real food on the table, this is a straightforward place to give.

What stands out here is the extra care around what a household actually needs, not just what fits on a shelf. Along with pantry staples, Cape Henlopen Food Basket provides a supermarket voucher for dairy products and brings in fresh produce several times a week, backed by community partners.
