Community Housing Expansion Of Austin
About Community Housing Expansion Of Austin
Community Housing Expansion of Austin gives low-income residents and working adults a way to live in Austin and Central Texas without giving up community or control. Its housing is resident-managed, with shared values and cost savings built into the daily experience. That makes CHEA worth caring about if you believe stable housing should also leave room for participation, not just a lease.
CHEA stands out for the way residents help manage the community themselves. It operates both Sasona Co-op and La Reunion Cooperative Apartments, keeping the focus on affordability, member participation, and cooperative living.
