Overview

About Compassionate Canine Society

A rescued dog can be part of a new beginning for more than one life. Compassionate Canine Society helps dogs find homes through rescue, fostering, and adoption, while its Empathy for Animals program pairs rescue dogs with youth and young adults for structured lessons in compassion, responsibility, and emotional awareness. Your support helps sustain hands-on care for dogs and education that brings animal welfare into communities.

Compassionate Canine Society connects dog rescue with an eight-week empathy education and diversion program for youth and young adults. Its work also includes animal welfare research, advocacy, education, adoption, fostering, and hands-on care.
