El Paso Aphasia Connection Center
About El Paso Aphasia Connection Center
At El Paso Aphasia Connection Center, the work is deeply practical: bilingual communication groups, intensive speech therapy, education, resources, advocacy, and support for people with aphasia and their caregivers in the greater El Paso and Las Cruces area. The point is not just to practice language, but to help people re-enter everyday life after an acquired language disorder with real guidance along the way. For donors, that means supporting a place where communication is treated as something people can rebuild, share, and use again.
What makes El Paso Aphasia Connection Center stand out is how specifically it meets people where they are, with bilingual communication groups, an intensive aphasia therapy program, and a participant blog platform. That blog gives people with aphasia a place to write, educate others, and practice language skills, which makes the support feel personal as well as practical.
