Overview

About Stable Strides Farm

At Stable Strides Farm, a lesson can start in the arena and carry into everyday life. Riders of all disabilities, ages, and skill levels come here for therapeutic riding and equine-assisted therapy, including adaptive sports riding, hippotherapy, a Veterans Program, and an EWD Show Program. If you care about practical support that meets riders where they are, this is the kind of place that keeps the work grounded and personal.

Stable Strides Farm offers therapeutic riding, hippotherapy, veterans lessons, and show opportunities in one equine-assisted setting. The emphasis stays on ability, confidence, and independence, with trained volunteers, certified coaches, and equine partners supporting the riders.

Voices

In their words

Ali B., Stable Strides Parent: "Therapeutic Riding has been life changing for my daughter Maddy. Maddy is extremely shy and struggles with a life-threatening genetic condition. Therapeutic riding addresses so many challenges, anxiety, strength, communication, social skills, decision making and so much more. It teaches hard work, setting goals, problem solving, teamwork, forming relationships, learning to overcome disappointment, speaking up and advocating for yourself, to face your fears and to build confidence. Therapeutic Riding has also taught Maddy that she can accomplish hard things and that dreams do come true. I have watched the skills Maddy learns in the arena transfer over to every area of her life."
