About Greater Ennis United Way
For more than 70 years, Greater Ennis United Way has gathered community resources and directed them to local agencies serving people across the Ennis area. A donation can help support after-school care, food assistance, emergency lodging, health care, home-delivered meals, or child advocacy through its partner network. Supports forensic interviewing, family advocacy, individual and family therapy, crime victim assistance, court preparation, court accompaniment, prevention training, and community education about child abuse.

- In 2017, GEUW financial assistance supported Hope Clinic services for 8,000 patients, including 1,800 patients at the Ennis site.
- In 2017, GEUW-supported Helping Hands of Ennis provided one week of food to 2,842 individuals, distributed 1,027 senior boxes, provided $22,000 in rent and mortgage assistance to 23 households, and assisted 20 families with utility bills.
- In FY 2018, the GEUW-supported Ellis County Children's Advocacy Center provided more than 335 interviews and served more than 116 families through family advocacy.
