Overview

About Heart Haven Home Inc

Heart Haven Home gives veterans facing housing insecurity a place that is safe, affordable, and built for actual day-to-day life. That matters especially for seniors, who can find housing hardest to secure, and for people in recovery who need stability as much as shelter. If you care about keeping people housed and connected, this is the kind of work that meets a real need close to home.

What sets Heart Haven Home apart is the emphasis on shared housing that still feels human. Residents are not just placed in a unit, they are part of close-knit communities that offer belonging, support, and access to resources.

Origin

Our story

Heart Haven Home began when Larry Gill and Marishka Pilch saw a need that was hard to ignore, veterans, especially in their senior years, were facing housing insecurity. From that realization, the organization grew into a shared housing model meant to offer safe, comfortable, affordable homes and a stronger sense of belonging for the people it serves.
