About Mission Possible Austin Inc
Mission Possible Austin is the kind of place where a weekly Bible club can start with dinner, where a tutoring session can sit alongside food assistance, and where Church Under the Bridge has been gathering people for more than 23 years. Based in East Austin, it serves children, teens, families, elderly neighbors, and people experiencing homelessness through programs that are practical, relational, and rooted in faith. What sets Mission Possible Austin apart is how local and layered its work is. Its base at 12th and Chicon anchors a long-term ministry that shows up through youth programming, pregnancy and parenting support, arts-based outreach, grocery help, and Church Under the Bridge. The organization calls that approach the Kingdom Cooperative, a relational model for churches, laypeople, and ministry workers.

Our story
Mission Possible Austin began in 1992, when Tim Pinson, Sr. started ministering to children in under-resourced areas of Austin. The work grew quickly, expanding into outreach with the homeless in 1993 and launching Camp Nikos that same year. By 1996, it had become a 501(c)(3), moved to the Eastside in 1997, and was holding Church Under the Bridge every Sunday by 1998. The organization purchased 1190 Chicon in 2003, then added Hesed Homes and Lifeline Pregnancy Resource Center in 2017.
