Nurturing Place
About Nurturing Place
Nurturing Place is building a wellness center in Austin for people who want care that reaches beyond one narrow need. The idea is simple and appealing, classes, therapy, support groups, a library and resource center, and The Playground, all under one roof, with affordable access at the center of the model. For donors, the pull is the focus on whole-person care that is meant to be practical, welcoming, and within reach. It is a place designed for mind, body, emotions, and spirit, not just one of them.
What sets Nurturing Place apart is its membership-based approach to wellness, paired with whole-person care and a sliding-scale structure. It also builds in research and advocacy around preventive mental health infrastructure, which gives the work a wider reach than day-to-day services alone.
