Project Pinkd Inc
About Project Pinkd Inc
Project Pink'd shows up where breast cancer survivors actually need help, with free support that covers financial strain, comfort items, education, and peer connection. Based in Omaha and serving Nebraska and Western Iowa, it keeps support close to home and available at no cost. For donors, that means your gift helps survivors move through treatment and life beyond treatment with real, practical support.
What sets Project Pink'd apart is how local and personal it stays. The organization is volunteer-powered, every program is offered at zero cost, and survivors can tap into help that ranges from grant support to monthly conversations and educational webcasts. It is built to meet people through the full course of survivorship, not just one moment of it.

Our story
Project Pink'd started with a water cooler conversation in 2010, when Cynthia Sturgeon drew on her own breast cancer experience and saw how many gaps still existed for survivors. She founded the organization to help close those gaps with free survivorship programs and Helping Hand grants. What began with calendars and $20,000 grew into a volunteer-powered organization supporting thousands of survivors through public support.
