About Safety & Health Council Of Greater
If you’ve ever wanted the practical version of safety education, this is it. Safety & Health Council Of Greater helps people across Nebraska learn how to prevent injuries and save lives through workplace training, driver education, distracted-driving outreach, and community safety services. It serves businesses, schools, drivers, families, and community members, which makes the work feel close to everyday life, not abstract policy.
This is Nebraska’s only National Safety Council chapter, and that gives it a clear lane. Its reach spans workplaces, roads, and community settings, with education and advocacy that show up where people actually need them.
Programs

Occupational safety and health training
Safety and health training courses, certification programs, consultation, and resources for workplaces.

First aid, CPR, AED, and basic life support training
Training for first aid, CPR, automated external defibrillators, and basic life support.
Conference room rental
Classroom-style conference rooms available for meetings and training.
