About Strong Missions Inc

Strong Missions started in Costa Rica and has stayed close to the work that happens there, from construction to food assistance to arts and sports activities. The draw for donors is simple: this is an organization built around practical support for children and families, not just a short visit that ends when the team flies home. Since 2005, it has served or supplied more than 425,000 meals to children and families. For people who want their giving to reach both immediate needs and long-term community support, that is a strong place to look.

What sets Strong Missions apart is the way its mission trips and year-round community programs stay connected to the same places and people in Costa Rica. Local church and community leaders help shape the work, which keeps projects grounded in what communities have actually said they need.

Our story

Charlie Strong began the mission in Costa Rica in 2003 after serving United Methodist churches and campus ministries in Central and North Texas.
