About Voices Of Hope Of Lincoln Inc
Voices of Hope of Lincoln supports people facing the aftermath of sexual assault, domestic violence, stalking, human trafficking, incest, and childhood abuse, along with their significant others. Last year, it served 2,500 people and answered 8,000 crisis line calls, which gives a real sense of how often that help is needed. It also teaches professionals and community members about these crimes, so support reaches beyond one conversation and into the wider community.
What sets Voices of Hope apart is that it does both the immediate and the longer-term work. It offers confidential crisis-line access and walk-in hours in Lincoln, while also providing education and training for clergy, mental health professionals, law enforcement, teachers, and health professionals.
