About Wishes and Prayers
A gently used stuffed animal was the starting point. Today, Wishes & Prayers supports struggling families, children, single mothers, and youth through holiday assistance, childcare support, early childhood education, a halfway house, and community programs in San Antonio. Your gift helps provide something tangible, whether that is a toy for a child, care for a parent who cannot afford day care, or support for young people building more productive lives.
Wishes & Prayers grew from the simple idea that a cleaned, gently used stuffed animal could be a comforting companion for a child. Its work now reaches families, youth, parents, and dogs through programs connected to Lone Bull Ranch, including a halfway house that can house 24 young people at a time and a developing dog rescue program.
Programs

Stuffed Animal and Toy Assistance
Provides cleaned stuffed animals, specific toys, and holiday gifts to struggling and low-income families with children.
Little Wishes Big Dreams Playhouse
