About Yosoymigrante
A bottle of water, hygiene supplies, electrolytes, condoms, or a clear shelter contact can matter enormously to someone moving through an unfamiliar place. Since 2019, Yosoymigrante has provided those practical resources to migrants in transit and resettlement while advocating for migrant rights and sharing information about healthcare and shelters. Your support helps fund kits, resource guides, shelters, and service organizations across Mexico, including recent deliveries to communities in Ciudad Juárez, Durango, Tlaxcala, Oaxaca, and Mexico City.
Yosoymigrante pairs direct material support for migrants in transit with advocacy and public education about migration, health equity, HIV prevention, and human trafficking prevention. Its work extends Dr. Higinio Fernández-Sánchez’s research and advocacy beyond academia, into kits, fundraising, resource guides, and social media that amplify migrant voices.

#YoSoyMigrante creates pathways to equity and well-being for migrants through advocacy, direct community support, education, guidance, resource provision, and fundraising for migrant shelters and initiatives.
