About Anchor Village
Anchor Village is developing a tiny-home community in Pottsboro for single mothers and their children after hardship. The planned two-year support program would pair housing with counseling, support groups, life skills classes, employment opportunities, and Christ-centered community. Your gift helps move this planned village closer to reality, while supporting a place where families can find stability and hope.
Anchor Village is planning affordable tiny homes alongside up to two years of support for resident mothers and their children. Its Harbor Market is designed to create jobs for residents, with proceeds directed back to Anchor Village, while partnerships with Texoma Workforce Solutions would open access to additional job opportunities.
Programs

Transitional housing
Provides a place for single mothers and their children to find community, support programs, and hope after hardship, with support available for up to two years.
Community support services
Resident mothers will have access to counseling, support groups, Bible studies, life skills classes, and a supportive community.
Harbor Market
An on-site bakery and market that will sell fresh-milled flour baked goods and homemade items made by Anchor Village residents while creating employment opportunities for women living at Anchor Village. Proceeds will support Anchor Village.
Employment support
Partners with Texoma Workforce Solutions to provide mothers with access to additional job opportunities.
Tiny Home Village
Plans to build tiny homes that provide affordable housing and community for women and children in need.

Single mothers and their children who have experienced abuse or hardship. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and agree to program guidelines and screening requirements.

How someone in need can access Anchor Village’s services.
Anchor Village is not yet built and is not currently accepting housing applications. When applications open, eligible applicants will complete an online application, provide two reference letters when possible, participate in an interview, complete criminal background checks and drug screening, and acknowledge program rules. Applicants must be single mothers age 18 or older with children, have identification and their children's birth certificates, and be prepared to maintain employment and participate actively in the community.
