Overview

About Community Cat Angels

Community Cat Angels steps in for the cats most people never get close to, injured, sick, abandoned, neglected, stray, feral, and unsocialized community cats in the Las Vegas valley. It gets them medical treatment, foster care, and the time they need to recover before they’re rehomed or returned safely to their colonies. For donors, that means helping cats that often need care right away, not eventually.

This is a volunteer-only Las Vegas rescue that focuses specifically on community cats. Its work covers Trap/Neuter/Return, foster rehabilitation, and medical care, so cats can get the right kind of help whether they need to go back to their neighborhood or into a permanent home.

Impact in person

Stories

The people behind the work.

Winfall

A senior cat was rescued from outside an apartment complex after being found emaciated, matted, hungry, and terrified. She was treated for chronic kidney disease, arthritis, partial blindness, coccidia, and upper respiratory infections, then moved into permanent foster care.

Today she is a gorgeous, fluffy, and talkative little lady who loves to chase and share cat toys with her younger foster sister, Nimbus.

Nimbus

A cat was found in a condemned housing complex scheduled for demolition and was so sick with an upper respiratory tract infection that veterinarians believed she would not have survived much longer. She is now in foster care and continues recovering with daily medical support.

It will be several months before she is healthy enough for adoption.

Sweety

A severely matted and sick baby cat was brought in after the finders had already spent what they could on veterinary care. She has remained in care for an extended period and requires a special diet.

We have had Sweety 1.5 years and requires a special diet.

Flame

A cat was brought in with severe fur loss and ringworm, then underwent months of treatment and later food-allergy testing to help him improve.

This is what I call going all out.
