About Marion Senior Living Inc
Marion Senior Living gives low- and moderate-income seniors in Marion and Linn County a place to live independently without losing access to support. That means housing with services, including social work support for residents across its buildings, for people who may also be living with physical disabilities. Its three communities are designed around affordability, with HUD subsidies helping keep rent tied to income at Moundview Manor and Trinity Pointe.
What sets Marion Senior Living apart is the way it keeps three senior housing communities rooted on one Marion campus, with a volunteer board and resident support services behind them. The focus stays squarely on affordable housing for seniors with low to moderate incomes, including residents whose rent is based on 30% of adjusted income.

Our story
Marion Senior Living started as an idea from the Marion Churches Social Concerns Committee, created to meet the need for low-income senior housing in the community. That effort became a nonprofit corporation in 1994, then grew after a donated five-acre parcel in 1995 and a HUD application to build subsidized senior housing. Moundview Manor opened in 2000, Scott Meadows followed in 2004, and Trinity Pointe opened in 2008 as the organization kept adding affordable housing in Marion.
