For people experiencing homelessness, low-income individuals, and other underserved residents of Houston, a health problem rarely exists on its own. New Beginnings Health provides health and wellness services while developing a care model that connects people with legal support for housing, identification, documentation, and public benefits. Your support helps build a more complete path to care, one that takes social determinants of health seriously.
New Beginnings Health is developing a legal-services model alongside its health and wellness work. The focus is practical: support related to eviction, unsafe living conditions, vital records, government-issued identification, Medicaid, SNAP, and SSI can address barriers that affect a person’s health.
