NJH Core
Licensed residential services for youth ages 16½ to 17, offering structured care, therapeutic support, and education during a critical stage of adolescent development.
Extended Care (ASCEND)
Support for young adults ages 18 through 21 who are transitioning from residential care into greater independence, with life-skills development, employment readiness, education planning, financial literacy, and housing navigation.
Life Skills Curriculum
A sequential curriculum built on social and emotional learning that covers academics, self-care, time management, responsibility, financial knowledge, money management, budgeting, stress management, motivation, perseverance, civic engagement, voting, and cultural competency.
Housing Readiness & Stability Skills
Practical education focused on independent living, including budgeting for rent and utilities, understanding leases and tenant rights, locating affordable housing options, maintaining a household, and building connections to community-based housing resources.
Aquaponics & Sustainable Agriculture Learning Lab
A hands-on educational lab that introduces youth to sustainable agriculture, food systems, applied science, responsibility, teamwork, and daily discipline through aquaponics and gardening activities.
NJH Elite Basketball
A basketball program that promotes healthy relationships, self-motivation, betterment, and participation in local competitions and tournaments.
Mentorship with Dallas Independent School District
A dedicated mentorship program that supports male youth alongside the curriculum and other services.
