Pride Tree
About Pride Tree
Pride Tree gives LGBTQ+ youth and allies a place to show up as themselves, whether that means a summer camp day with swimming and hiking or a year-round gathering where questions are welcome. In Las Vegas, that kind of space matters because it helps young people build self-esteem, find community, and feel less alone while they grow. The organization also keeps the focus on access, with scholarships and free participation built into its programming.
What sets Pride Tree apart is the way it keeps showing up for young people beyond a single event or season. Camp, year-round programming, and public advocacy all point back to the same idea, safe spaces without traditional gender norms. Accessibility is part of the design, with scholarships and free participation repeatedly emphasized.

Our story
Pride Tree began in November 2020, when Grant Frailich saw how a 15-year-old gender-fluid student was left without supportive responses after sharing an online threat. That moment became the starting point for an organization built around one clear need, safe environments where LGBTQ+ youth and allies could explore identity openly and without fear. From there, it grew into camp, year-round programming, and community events.
