Rapid Response sends volunteer teams to natural and man-made disasters locally, nationally, and around the world. The work is direct and practical, from compassionate relief and humanitarian aid to medical support in devastated areas. For people facing crisis, that means help that is meant to arrive with real urgency and local coordination.
Rapid Response is volunteer-driven and faith-based, but what really stands out is how it works on the ground: teams meet with local leaders, work with local doctors, and buy supplies as close to the affected area as possible. That keeps the response rooted in what each community actually needs, not what looks good from far away.

Our story
Rapid Response was founded by members of the churches of Omaha in early 2000, when the rise in natural and man-made disasters around the world made the need for organized relief impossible to ignore.
