Overview

About World Partners

World Partners is the kind of organization that helps people get to work, whether that means launching a business, growing food, or repairing a house after war damage. In Ukraine, its work has reached farms, households, and displaced families with food, seeds, bread, and housing repairs. For donors, the appeal is straightforward, practical help that is tied to local leadership and long-term livelihood, not just one-time relief.

What sets World Partners apart is how closely it links entrepreneurship with hands-on support. It does not stop at advice, it also provides financing, technical expertise, and ongoing coaching, while backing projects that range from agriculture to reconstruction. That mix gives its work a grounded feel, especially in places like Ukraine and Central Asia.

World Partners was founded in 1995, with Hans Hamoen identified as the driving force behind it. Today, it often works as a partner organization that connects people, offers advice, financing, and technical expertise, and supports existing initiatives.

A Central Asia orchard reaches its first harvest
