About Omaha Cancer Foundation
Omaha Cancer Foundation, called XCancer in its mission work, is about helping patients, families, and caregivers find their way to clinical trials, emerging treatments, and the support needed to pursue them. It also backs the research infrastructure that helps those options reach more people, while its awareness apparel and gift collections turn everyday purchases into support for the cause. For donors, the appeal is simple, this is a group focused on access, not just awareness.
What sets XCancer apart is the way it links cancer care access with a research network and an apparel storefront that supports the work. Its reach also extends beyond the United States, with fundraising and awareness efforts in underserved regions of Africa, including the Thomas Nordquist Cancer Hostel project.

Our story
Dr. Luke Nordquist founded the Urology Cancer Center & GU Research Network in Omaha in 2010. In 2017, he expanded that work into Precision Cancer Research, later rebranded as XCancer, to connect patients, research centers, physicians, researchers, and advocates around cancer care innovation. In 2021, the XCancer Store was created so supporters, caregivers, survivors, and families could contribute through purchases.
